Sossego is an artist based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who draws inspiration from his eclectic musical background and deep connection with nature. His work evokes warm, tropical airs and deep calming waves of sound and ambience.
His sophomore release, "Marco Zero," (translates roughly as Ground Zero, or Starting Point) marks his entry into the world of Lofi Hip Hop. With influences and touches of boom-bap, trip hop, dub and ambient music, the overall vibe is introspective, meditative, sometimes sad, sometimes pondering, sometimes optimistic, but always with a relaxed, steady and focused groove.
